John Weir is the President and CEO of the Hypnosis Center
for Motivation and Habit Management as well as Today’s My
Day Productions Incorporated.

AWARDS:
In
2008, John won the NGH’s Charles Tebbetts Award, which is
awarded for “Spreading the Light of Hypnotism” at the NGH
Annual Convention.
John is the youngest recipient of this prestigious
award.
In
2007, John
received
the honor of ‘Distinguished Practitioner’ from Pnosis, which
is the largest online hypnotism magazine.

John is the author and producer of more than 15 hypnosis
audio programs.
He has a column in the National Guild of Hypnotists Journal
of Hypnotism (the professions most prestigious publication)
and is a contributing editor, with his own feature section,
for Pnosis online magazine.
John is Public Relations
and Publicity Director for the Hypnotism Society of
Pennsylvania
(Pittsburgh
Chapter).
The
Hypnotism Society of Pennsylvania is the oldest hypnotism
society in the world and is made up of three chapters;
Pittsburgh,
Philadelphia,
and
Bucks
County.
John is a sought after instructor
and was a part of the National Guild of Hypnotists faculty
for the 2008 international convention held in
Marlborough
Massachusetts.
He also will be a part of the Platinum Success Panel
as well as presenter at the 2009 National Guild of
Hypnotists Solid Gold Weekend in Las Vegas.

John has worked with some of
Southwestern Pennsylvania’s most prestigious hospitals
including: Excela Health Systems (Westmoreland,
Latrobe, and
Frick
Hospitals) to help their employees stop
smoking and reduce weight.
At
Allegheny General
Hospital, he was a guest
lecturer during their Pain Control week as well as worked
with their Orthopedic Residences for stress management.
He also taught first year students at The University
of Pittsburgh School of Medicine on the process of hypnosis.

John’s work has been highlighted throughout multiple media
forums.
He made his television debut on the television show, “A
Better Life” with host Meredith Baxtor.
The show was on self-improvement, and John was the
shows Stop Smoking Specialist.
This show aired twice on primetime in 2006.
He has been a guest of many radio programs such as on
Pittsburgh Sunday Morning with Sean McDowell, which aired on
all 6 Clear Channel Communications stations (102.5fm WDVE,
96.1fm KISS, 105.9fm WXDX, 94.5fm 3WS, 104.7fm News Talk and
970am FOX Sports).
John has was also a guest on ESPN radio’s Junker and
Crow Show as well as their Pittsburgh Golf Show.
John’s work has been featured in several newspapers
like The Tribune Review, Trib P.M, Pittsburgh City Paper,
The Daily Courier, The Valley Mirror,
and The Globe.
